The Krishi Kisan App is an initiative by the Government of India to provide a platform to the farmers to reach out to them for their farm-related queries, issues, or feedback. The app can be used to locate the nearest demonstration plots and farmers' field locations. It will help in the preparation of the Annual Action Plan and Budget for the Department of Agriculture, and also in the proper monitoring of the scheme. The geo-tagging of the plots will help in the identification of the farmers.
The app will also help the farmers to access the information about the crops and the different types of activities that are being conducted in the different areas of the country.
